I was born and raised in New Market, Alabama where I attended Buckhorn High School. I played baseball at Calhoun Community College and finished my bachelor's degree at Athens State University. During my time at Athens State, I began my educational career as a bus driver at Paint Rock Valley School. I, then, began teaching social science and coaching baseball at Susan Moore High School in Snead, Alabama. In 2017, I began teaching with Huntsville City Schools at the Neaves-Davis Center for Children and with the Homebound Department. In 2023, I began at Central School as the assistant principal.
My wife, Chelsey, and I have been married since 2011 and we have 4 children (Micaiah, Everlee, Isaac, and Zeke). I enjoy serving in my church, the outdoors, and spending time with my family.
